Tracheal suction devices help you to remove from the airways mucus which cannot
easily be coughed up. They are used to remove large secretions, e.g. shortly after
an operation or with bronchitis.
Only sterile, non-traumatic suction catheters made from soft, tissue-friendly materials
are used. Familiarisation with a suction device is not at all complicated. You already
begin this during your stay in hospital or via your doctor. If necessary, however, our
trained rehabilitation team-members are also there to assist you with advice and help.
Our suction devices are all fitted with a secretion container, overflow cut-off and
bacterial filter and correspond to the latest technological standards. Each device is
supplied with 25 suction catheters.
